EWO Caravan & Camping™ – Warranty Policy

Ever Wild Outdoors Pty Ltd (“EWO”, "EWO Caravans & Camping", “we”, “our”, “us”)

By purchasing a product or using services through EWO, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policy. Please read carefully.

Our warranty policy ensures peace of mind for our customers, while also outlining your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Definitions & General Terms

  • “Original retail purchaser” means the first person to buy the product from EWO.
  • These terms apply to all products and services sold by EWO, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We may amend these terms at any time; the version posted on our website at the time of purchase governs your order.
  • These terms are in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer laws (for example, the Australian Consumer Law).

2. Ordering, Payment & Cancellation

  • deposit (e.g. AUD 1000 or other amount) is required to secure your order.
  • Final payment must be cleared before you take delivery or collection of the product.
  • If payment is by bank transfer, cheque, or similar, funds must fully clear before release of the product.
  • If you cancel an order, we will refund your deposit (less any administrative or restocking fees), generally within 7–10 business days.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse orders in cases of pricing errors, stock issues, or credit problems.

3. Specifications, Substitutions & Changes

  • We use best efforts to deliver according to advertised specifications. However, if certain components are unavailable (due to supply issues), we may substitute with equivalent or better items at our discretion.
  • You will be notified in advance if a substitution is proposed.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual product may vary slightly.

4. Delivery & Risk Transfer

  • Delivery or handover dates are estimates only. EWO is not liable for delays beyond our control (e.g. transport issues, component shortages).
  • Risk (loss or damage) transfers to you upon delivery or collection.
  • You should inspect the goods immediately upon receipt. Hidden damage must be reported to us and the carrier within a reasonable time, with photos or other evidence.

5. Warranty Policy


a) Scope & Duration

  • EWO warrants to the original purchaser that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of 12 months unless otherwise specified.
  • Major structural components (e.g. frame, chassis) may have an extended or lifetime warranty for fatigue, as defined in a separate policy.
  • This warranty is non-transferable — it applies only to the original purchaser.

b) Exclusions & Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable or maintenance items (e.g. bulbs, filters, bearings, tyres, hoses).
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, accident, corrosion, neglect, modifications, or unauthorized repair.
  • Normal wear and tear, aging, or changes in material appearance (e.g. faded surfaces).
  • Damage caused by natural forces (e.g. storms, UV degradation).
  • Use of the product beyond its intended purpose.

c) Your Obligations

To maintain your warranty rights, you must:

  • Adhere to recommended maintenance and servicing schedules.
  • Cease using the product immediately upon noticing a defect.
  • Present the product (or part) to an authorized EWO outlet for inspection and repair.
  • Provide proof of purchase and sufficient evidence (photos, description) when submitting a claim.

d) Claim Procedures

  • Claims must be lodged through our Warranty Claim Form (online) within the warranty period.
  • We may request additional information or documentation to assess the claim.
  • In remote areas where we cannot directly service the product, we may approve third-party repairs (only after prior written authorisation).
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications void the warranty.
  • EWO may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product or part with an equivalent item.
  • Any reimbursements will be via electronic deposit to your nominated account, after we approve the claim.

e) “Factory Seconds”, “Ex-Demo”, & Damaged Goods

  • Items sold as factory secondsex-demonstration, or damaged are sold “as is”.
  • 12 Months warranty applies, NO refunds, credits, or exchanges apply to these goods.
  • We will disclose known faults or defects at the time of sale, but minor imperfections may exist.
  • By purchasing such items, you accept they may have flaws and waive warranty protections except where required by law.

7. Liability & Limitations

  • Except as mandated by statute, EWO is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g. lost profits, time, travel).
  • You use all equipment at your own risk. EWO is not responsible for personal injury or damage arising from misuse or improper use.
  • Outdoor and off-road activities carry inherent risks; you are responsible for ensuring safety and proper use.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on EWO’s website—text, graphics, logos, images, designs—is owned by EWO or used with permission.
  • You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute or publicly display any site content without prior written permission from us.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia (or your state as applicable).
  • Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Queensland (or relevant state jurisdiction).
